Ingredients to make home made Oats Noodles :- 1 cup quick Oats 1 cup whole wheat flour Water to make dough Ingredients to cook Oats Noodles:- 1 1/2 cup Home made Oats Noodles 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1 cup chopped onion, 1 cup chopped carrots, 1 cup chopped capsicum, 1 cup boiled fresh/frozen peas, 1 cup fresh/frozen corns, 1 cup chopped tomatoes, 1 tsp chopped green chillies , Salt to taste , 1 tsp sabji Masala, 1-2 tsp to tomato sauce, 3-4 tsp oil Method to make Healthy Oats Noodles:- To make Noodles grind 1 cup quick Oats to make Oats flour. In a large bowl add 1 cup Oats flour, 1 cup whole wheat flour now add water and make a slightly hard dough. Take a part of the prepared dough, put it in a chakli maker and make noodle. Do the same with rest of the dough. Sun dry the Noodles for 2-3 days. Make sure their is no moisture left in the noodle. You can make a large batch and store it in an air tight container for 3-4 months. To cook these Homemade Oats Noodles:- Heat 1-2 tsp oil in a pan add 1 1/2 cup of Oats Noodles, roast them till they turn golden brown. Take the Noodles out once done. In the same pan heat 1-2 tsp oil, add 1 tsp chopped garlic, 1 cup chopped onion now add all the vegetables ( you can any seasonal vegetables of your choice), sauté the vegetables. Once the veggies are cooked add 1 cup chopped tomatoes, add salt to taste, add 1 tsp sabji masala. Mix everything well. Now combine Oats Noodles in the pan. Add 1 1/2 cups of water and mix everything again. Let it cook for 4-5 minutes or till the water is completely absorbed. Your Oats Noodles are ready to serve.
